Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using preperai (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, free-tier users, and paid subscribers. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Description of service

preperai is an AI-assisted product validation platform. It allows users to describe a product idea and generate simulated user personas, then conduct text-based conversations with those personas to surface assumptions, objections, and potential deal-breakers before building.

The personas generated by preperai are entirely fictional and AI-generated. They are not based on real people. Any resemblance to real individuals is coincidental. Outputs from the Service are intended as research scaffolding, not a substitute for real user research.

Account registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or by authenticating through Google OAuth. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or otherwise harmful.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or system prompts.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or authentication mechanisms.
• Use the Service to train, fine-tune, or benchmark other AI systems without our written consent.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use automated tools to send requests at volume beyond normal product usage.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

Free tier and usage limits

Free accounts are subject to limits on the number of projects, personas per project, and conversations per month. These limits are displayed in the app and may change over time. We will provide reasonable notice of any reduction to existing free-tier limits.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the free tier at any time with 30 days’ notice. Your data will not be deleted as a result of a free-tier change.

Subscriptions and payments

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• Refunds: Refunds may be granted at our discretion for billing errors or exceptional circumstances. Contact support@preperai.space within 7 days of a charge.
• InstaPay: Manual EGP payments via InstaPay require admin review before activation. Payments are non-refundable once approved, unless a billing error occurred on our side.
• Price changes: We will give at least 30 days’ notice before increasing subscription prices. The new price applies at your next renewal after the notice period.

AI-generated content

The personas, names, backgrounds, and conversation responses generated by preperai are produced by AI and are entirely synthetic. They do not represent the views, opinions, or experiences of any real person.

preperai makes no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or usefulness of AI-generated outputs. Persona responses are probabilistic simulations, not validated user research. Decisions made on the basis of preperai outputs are made at your own risk.

You own the content you input into the Service (your project descriptions and messages). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

Intellectual property

preperai and all associated software, design, trademarks, and content (excluding your user-submitted content) are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the Service.

On termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We will delete your data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy, except where retention is legally required.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or fit for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, preperai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or a court of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
